Teacher Gift, by Marina

So cute!  8-year-old Marina was over at my house with her sisters and mom, and when we finished up playing with the Paper Pumpkin kit I had brought out for them, Marina grabbed some Real Red card stock and my scallop border punch, and started making rosebuds.  We trimmed and stuck the ends into the ends of some left over paper straws, cut to a shorter length.  Then, I grabbed my Petite Petal Punch and made calyxes for the buds.  We snipped a little x through each calyx, and slipped the straw through.  A cute little bow, stuck on with a glue dot, finished each flower nicely.

Marina was very pleased with her bouquet, and decided she would put them in a little jar (with some rice or marbles to hold them up,) and present them to her teacher as a year-end gift.

Good job, Marina!
